We were out with friends the other day discussing #REGV or Real Estate Grapevine Limited, and one of them remarked, what’s so interesting about office space?
Alas, one couldn’t resist getting on ones high horse, and pontificated about the delights of the sector.
Gone is the time where people went to work, sat in a cubicle and slogged away at their job. Now however, entrepreneurialism has become the new thing for people to do and in order to meet the officing needs of these brave souls there has become a wide and varying choice of office options to consider.
There is the traditional, tried and tested leased office, hot desking, co-working, business centres, working from home, sub-letting, virtual officing and variants being brought to market to aid the new business or business person. Corporates are joining the trend and lessening their square footage needs as these options and technology are making the work force far more mobile.
Whatever your business decides, the space you select is a statement of you and your company. Look at the likes of Google, Facebook, Amazon, RedBull to name a few firms, their offices are more engaging than ever with the variety of facilities at the hand of the employee to bring about great engagement in the company and it’s growth.
Is office space boring? For some, I suppose maybe, but for us, it’s an exciting time as it continues to adapt to the needs of the people and employes that grow business of our generation!
